Vic: Overington becomes 3rd Labor MP to retire at the election

Victorian Labor MP KAREN OVERINGTON has announced her retirement at the November state election.

Ms OVERINGTON .. who's served as the member for Ballarat West for more than 10 years
.. says she's decided not to seek a fourth term for personal reasons.

She's the third Labor MP to announce their retirement at the next election.

Victorian Premier JOHN BRUMBY says Ms OVERINGTON has been a dedicated and hardworking
member whose contributions have made a difference in her community.
